Inter-Mountain Watershed District hosts an annual Water Festival at the Ethelbert Office, where approximately 300 grade 5 students attend from various schools across the District. Along with the students are many volunteers, teachers, and chaperones that attend the festival as well.
The Water Festival provides students with an opportunity to learn about a variety of topics including water, soil, wildlife, forestry, and riparian areas in a field setting. During the festival students travel around to different stations to learn about the different aspects of the environment.
