Meet the Office Staff

Jeff Thiele has been named as the first-ever General Manager for Inter-Mountain Watershed District. Jeff has been working with Intermountain Conservation District at Ethelbert for the past seven years, and previously worked for PFRA (Ag Canada) as a soil conservationist. He is a graduate of the U of M wirh a BSC in Agriculture and is certified as a professional agrologist. Jeff looks forward to working with the District's local residents, our 14 municipal partners, and the Province of Manitoba, in order to provide for the conservation and prudent use of natural assets within our watershed boundaries. |

Laurie Hykway has recently been named the Financial Administrator for the newly formed Inter-Mountain Watershed District. Laurie has spent 22 years in Ethelbert working for the Intermountain Conservation District; now known as IMWD. Laurie has extensive knowledge of conservation programs, office administration, and financials, and looks forward to working with the Districts Local residents, and IMWD Staff & Board members.

Jessa McNabb, GROW/LiDAR Coordinator/Web Designer

Jessa McNabb is a graduate of the Land and Water Management Program offered at ACC in Brandon, Mb. During her studies she wrote her thesis on Retention Dams within the District with the help of staff and Board members. After graduation, she started working as our Resource Technician, and then moved on to be our GROW Coordinator. Jessa looks forward to working with landowners throughout the district on various conservation projects. |
Chance Hulley, Technical Coordinator

Chance Hulley is a graduate of the Land and Water Management program offered at ACC in Brandon Mb. After graduating he worked throughout Northern Mb with the Provincial Fisheries department before returning to the Dauphin area and working with the Highways dept. He now works out of our Ste. Rose office and looks forward to continuing working with locals around the Ochre River, Ste. Rose and McCreary areas on Infrastructure projects. |
